A single vehicle crash in Vernon County led to injuries of a driver

Vernon County Sheriff, Roy Torgerson, reports that Saturday night around 7:30, the Sheriff’s Office 911 Dispatch Center was notified of the crash on County Road B, near Hage Lane, in the Town of Coon.
Alan D. Poellinger, 34 of Viroqua, was traveling south on County Road B when he lost control on a curve to the right, went off the left side of the roadway, and struck a utility pole. Alan Poellinger was injured and transported by Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance to Emplify by Gundersen in La Crosse.
Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the Coon Valley Fire Department, Coon Valley Emergency Medical Responders, and Gundersen Tri-State Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
