The 68-year-old Fond du Lac man suspected of intentionally killing a motorcyclist in Fond du Lac pleads not guilty to second-degree reckless homicide and first-degree recklessly endangering safety charges.
Mark Snider was arraigned in Fond du Lac County Court Monday. Elijah “Eli” Sowin died of his injuries at a hospital after his motorcycle crashed into the driver’s side of Mark Snider’s vehicle on March 28th.
Snider is accused of intentionally swerving his vehicle into Sowin’s path. Charges against Snider are based on evidence collected at the scene and witness statements.
Fond du Lac Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says, “This was not an accident, but a deliberate and dangerous act that led directly to the death of a young man from our greater Fond du Lac community.”
A plea and sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 24th.
