Shots Fired in Downtown FDL

Several vehicles and residences were hit by gunfire in Fond du Lac early this morning.

Gunshots were heard outside the Parish School Apartments at 63 East Merrill Avenue about 2:45 am. Officers spoke with occupants of the vehicles hit by gunfire. There were no injuries.

Detectives are conducting interviews and reviewing video surveillance. Police Chief Aaron Goldstein says they won’t tolerate reckless and dangerous criminal behavior that puts lives at risk.
