Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre Presents Irving Berlin's White Christmas on its Mainstage this December.
Laura Bergh
Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre presents White Christmas! This will be the first time a musical will be gracing the mainstage in at least a decade. (and it’s about time) Susan Becker, the director of the show has experience directing many musicals. She has directed with HOPO, the WRCT Youth, and Wisconsin Rapids Middle and High school. In her capable hands the show is sure to be a success on that WRCT mainstage.
In a recent interview with James J. Malouf at WFHR studios for Mid-Day Magazine, some cast members of the upcoming production of White Christmas at Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre stopped by to discuss the show.
Three of the cast members were in the interview, Beth Rohn-Habhegger, Aliya Arroyo, and Daniel Bledsoe. They all came in to discuss their feelings on taking part in this Christmas classic, and discuss the process. Beth and Aliya are cast as sisters Betty and Judy Haynes, and Daniel is cast as Phil Davis. They discussed juggling schedules, and life with the rehearsal and performance schedule. These great actors are all working hard and just hope that audiences enjoy the show as much as they do.
